Vitesse Energy Announces Acquisition of over 19,000 Net Acres in the Williston Basin

CENTENNIAL, Colo., September 16, 2014 — Vitesse Energy, LLC, a subsidiary of Leucadia National Corporation, announced the acquisition of non-operated oil and gas assets in the Williston Basin from EnerVest Operating, LLC. The assets acquired include a working interest in approximately 600 wells and over 19,000 net acres primarily in Williams, McKenzie and Mountrail counties for a preliminary purchase price of $186.5 million, subject to customary post-closing adjustments. The purchase and sale agreement was originally signed on August 1, 2014 and the acquisition closed on September 8, 2014.
